  Lesbian for a Day

“I have to confess, I’ve never done anything like this before,” Erica Carlson said softly to her date for the night after they’d been seated at the bar in the upscale Huntington Inn and had each had ordered a glass of wine. She immediately looked away and blushed, as if there was something wrong with what she was doing. It wasn’t like she was in a committed relationship or married – she’d just ended her on again, off again relationship with her boyfriend Matt a couple weeks ago. And as a forty year old woman she was certainly old enough to have a one-night stand if she chose, which if all went well was what this would be – just one date, just one night together with a lesbian she’d been paired with named Vanessa Schmidt. Vanessa worked with the organization Erica had gone through, a company called Your Day International, which specialized in giving people exactly what they wanted for a single day. Erica wasn’t sure that this was what she wanted in life, but she knew that she wanted to try it after a divorce earlier in life and recently ending that tumultuous relationship with Matt. So, when she found out about Your Day International from a colleague at work, who’d gone to the organization for something far less risqué, she decided to give it a try and was somewhat surprised when they’d accepted her application and paired her up with Vanessa.

“Done anything like what? Had a drink with another woman?” Vanessa asked with a good-natured smile, running a hand through her long black hair as her beautiful brown eyes shifted slightly, considering the woman before her. She was a few years older than Vanessa but no less beautiful, with deep brown eyes and straight dark brown hair. She could tell that Erica cared very much about how she looked and the impression she gave, having chosen a sleeveless green dress that was tight enough to show off her curves, concealed any less flattering areas that her body might have had, and yet was conservative enough that she didn’t look like a harlot. It matched Vanessa’s look in many ways – she wore a black dress that showed off her shoulders and exposed a little cleavage but nothing too revealing. High heels completed the outfit, as they did for Erica. Though they were somewhat similarly aged and clothed, the two couldn’t have looked more different at that moment – Erica was tense and looked every bit as awkward she felt being on a date with another woman, while Vanessa was completely relaxed, looking every bit as natural and calm on a date as Erica likely would have with a man.

“Been on a date with another woman,” Erica replied softly, as if she was concerned that others would hear though she knew no one else would actually be paying attention to her conversation. She took a sip of her wine, though it appeared that she needed to check herself and ensure it was only a sip that she took and not a much longer drink.

“I never would have guessed,” Vanessa replied with a witty, sarcastic smile before chuckling softly and adding, “Just relax – you’re here to enjoy yourself and have fun. No one’s going to judge you for this, no one has to know – I certainly won’t be telling anyone. It’s just like being on a date with a guy – except you’ve actually got someone listening who cares about what you’re saying and not just about getting into your pants.”

“In that case, it’s nothing like being with a guy,” Erica replied with a sigh, taking another sip of her wine, though she already looked more relaxed, “Every man I’ve been with has wanted one thing and made that clear without even really needing to say it.”

“Well, strictly speaking, I want that too, as I’m sure you do,” Vanessa said with another mirthful laugh as she took a sip of her wine, “But really, there’s so much more to being with a woman than the amazing sex. I can connect on a level with women that I never can with men – that’s the main reason I don’t date men anymore.”

“You mean you dated men?” Erica asked, somewhat surprised by that though it made sense. It was what was considered normal, status quo for people her age when they had been younger.

“Well of course I did – I almost married one. Thankfully I came to my senses before that happened,” Vanessa said with a smirk.

“I wish that I had,” Erica muttered, shaking her head, “So how did you know you wanted to be with other women?”

“I didn’t know for sure, to be honest,” Vanessa replied with a shrug as she took a long sip of her wine, “I always found other women to be attractive, but then, I felt that way about men too. Eventually, I kind of experimented. It was just an idea that I dismissed at first – being with other women sounded great for the connection, but physically who’d want that? And yet part of me did! So the more I got burned by men, the more and more it sounded like a great idea to at least give it a try. It sounds like something I just decided to do, but really, it was years before I took the plunge and went on a couple dates with a woman. Then came the sex, later on, and when it was more incredible than I’d even imagined it could have been that settled it for me.”

“See, the idea of sex with another woman is what’s kept me from trying this up until now,” Erica said thoughtfully after a moment, “I mean, it’s not something that’s repulsive to me or anything like that. I just can’t really envision how that would work.”

“I’ll put it to you this way,” Vanessa said with a seductive smile, “Don’t you think it would be much more satisfying to be with someone who knows your body as well as you? Who really understands what it means to turn a woman on firsthand, rather than a man who’s simply going to pound into you as hard as he can so he can get off and then stop since he got what he wanted?”

“I can see how that would be appealing, but that doesn’t mean I can really see how the sex would play out. I guess I know what to expect with a guy,” Erica replied as she took a sip from her glass, “Ugh, I feel like a teenager playing spin the bottle all over again.”

“Believe it or not, that’s exactly why I’m here,” Vanessa said with a chuckle, “You weren’t the only one who submitted an application to Your Day International.”

“You did too? I thought they just paired us up… Well, I guess I thought they just found a lesbian that they thought I’d be compatible with and matched us somehow,” Erica said, raising a brow as she took another sip, most of her glass gone already.

“They did match us based on our applications – you wanted to be a lesbian for a day, and I wanted to be with someone having lesbian sex for the first time. So I could guide someone through it so they might not have to feel as awkward as I did,” Vanessa said with a laugh and a shrug, “It sounded like a good idea at the time, I guess saying it out loud it sounds kind of silly.”

“Not at all – no more silly than going to a company to be a lesbian for a day,” Erica replied with a smile, her eyes meeting Vanessa’s as her gaze moved from her glass to her date. It was somewhat amazing – she had expected the conversation to be awkward, but it felt so easy to her now, after only a few minutes. Granted, it had been all about their shared desires for the same sex and the realization of those, but even though she knew hardly anything about the woman she was sitting with she felt a sort of bond with her that went beyond those that she’d felt with any of the men she’d been with in her life – and after only a short conversation. It caught her a bit off guard how she was feeling about a woman she’d only just met. She’d never fallen for any of the men she’d been with like this. Was she falling for Vanessa, in that romantic way? Time would tell, she supposed, but for now, she decided to simply enjoy herself, “So when you’re not showing a potential lesbian the ropes, what do you do?”

“Me? I work in real estate,” Vanessa replied with a smile as they moved into more meaningful conversation, “I have a team of flippers I work with. I handle some of the design elements and the realty side of things. When I’m not doing that, I enjoy spa days and pampering myself – but since I don’t get to do that all that
often I settle for playing tennis and jogging. How about you? What’s your typical day like – those days when you aren’t a lesbian for a day?”

“I’m an office manager,” Erica answered as she took a drink of her wine, “And I wish I could enjoy more spa days like that. I do enjoy a good jog each morning, but usually in the evenings I’m curled up with a good book.” The conversation went back and forth that way for quite some time, with Erica losing track of time throughout it – as a good date should be. Vanessa was genuinely interested in her, in aspects of her life that a man just wouldn’t want to take the time to get involved in – none of her boyfriends or her ex-husband had cared to know her trials and tribulations at work, but Vanessa picked up on the fact that she was going through a busy time with her job and wanted to hear more. It was like a breath of fresh air for Erica, who decided about halfway through their date that if Vanessa had been a man that she would have invited her to her house for the night in a heartbeat. Even her friends, supportive as they were in life, weren’t like this with her when they were together – the concern seemed much more intimate than simple venting. Of course, she was just as concerned with Vanessa’s issues in life when she expressed concerns about her group being over budget on their latest investment. As Vanessa talked about how many thousands over budget they’d had to go because of a roofing problem, Erica realized that she found this woman attractive – not just in a passing glance kind of way either. She found herself gazing into Vanessa’s eyes as she spoke and unable to look away.

“I recognize that look in your eyes,” Vanessa spoke up after a moment, a slight smile on her face brightening her features, “That’s the look I usually get toward the end of a very successful date that says let’s go get a room for a bit more intimate conversation.”

“Am I that easy to read?” Erica asked with a slight blush on her face as she forced herself to look away from Vanessa’s deep brown eyes. It was embarrassing to have such feelings for someone so soon after meeting them, especially for a person that she wouldn’t normally allow herself to have such feelings for at all.

“Yes, but you have to remember I’ve had quite a bit of experience reading women,” Vanessa said with a chuckle, as she took a final sip of her wine, finishing the glass, “Shall we head up to our room? I took the liberty of reserving us one for the night.”

Erica blushed and chuckled softly, having already finished her wine, “Yes, of course. And that was very thoughtful of you, but what would you have done if this hadn’t gone so well?”

“Then I wouldn’t have invited you up and simply spent a nice evening here on my own,” Vanessa confessed with a laugh as she stood up, leaving money on the bar to pay for their drinks. Erica stood up as well, not certain if she should take Vanessa’s hand or not, since they were on a date. It might have been polite to do so, but she wasn’t sure she was comfortable with a public display of affection like that. Fortunately for her, Vanessa simply motioned for her to follow and led the way out of the bar and to the elevators. Once inside the elevator and they were alone, Vanessa looked over to Erica, “We don’t have to do anything physical tonight if you don’t want to, you know. If you decide you aren’t comfortable all you need to do is say the word.”

Erica stumbled slightly as the elevator began to move, caught off guard not only by the movement of the elevator but also by what Vanessa said. No guy that she had dated had ever even given her that option! It was simply assumed that if they were going to a room that it was going to get sexual. Vanessa hadn’t made that assumption. That was incredibly empowering and reassuring for Erica, who steadied herself quickly and shook her head, “No, I want this… Believe me. If I didn’t I wouldn’t have signed up to try it.”

“Of course – if you change your mind, however, all you need to do is say the word,” Vanessa replied before leaning in and giving Erica soft kiss, her lips barely brushing against hers. Erica took in a deep breath but managed to keep from gasping. She hadn’t realized how turned on she was simply by spending time with this woman and now by the prospect of sex with her. Sparks flew within her body from her core as she looked into Vanessa’s eyes and then slowly leaned in, kissing her softly in return, letting her lips linger for just a moment. She considered deepening the kiss but then heard the ring from the elevator letting them know they’d arrived at their floor. She quickly broke the kiss as the doors opened, blushing just a bit. Vanessa simply smiled and led the way down the hall to the room that she’d gotten earlier. She unlocked the door and stepped inside, turning on the light. As they came on and Erica stepped into the room, she let out a soft gasp at what she saw.

The room that Vanessa had gotten was a suite, and it was absolutely beautiful, with high ceilings and exquisitely designed crown molding. The bed was king size, but she couldn’t see many details other than that because it was a room away. The front room featured a couch, a large screen TV, and a desk and chair. The soft carpet had brilliant designs in shades of red and brown that matched the crown molding in the room. A wide window in the next room across from the bed featured a scenic view of the surrounding forest. It had curtains that could be drawn, but there was no need to as it was private enough and so secluded that they could leave them open without an issue. Overall the suite was clean, spacious, and far more than Erica was expecting. As Vanessa closed the door behind them she grinned at Erica, “I take it you like the room?”

“It’s beautiful – and what a view!” Erica exclaimed as she made her way into the bedroom. A quick glance to the side revealed a spacious bathroom complete with a jetted tub. The carpet and crown molding were the same style as the prior room, and there was a large closet as well – not that Erica had brought anything for overnight with her, clearly an oversight on her part.

“Very romantic, isn’t it?” Vanessa asked as followed Erica into the bedroom, moving to stand beside her and gently put an arm around her with her hand on Erica’s shoulder. Erica didn’t jump or move away as Vanessa half expected her to, considering how nervous she’d been downstairs. She still sensed a bit of that hesitation and nervousness from her, but now that they were alone behind closed doors, she seemed to relax a bit.

“Yes, it is,” Erica glanced over at her date for the night, their eyes meeting for a moment as she did so before Erica looked away, back toward the window. She hesitated, and then asked with a blush, “I don’t mean to sound so inexperienced, but what now?”

“Stop worrying so much! You are inexperienced when it comes to women,” Vanessa said with a chuckle as she ran a hand through Erica’s hair, “We can put on a movie, if you’d like, or perhaps take a bath together.”

Erica took a deep breath and hesitated. The movie was definitely the “safer” option of the two. She had done this not just for a date, but to figure out if she wanted to be with women or not. Making love with Vanessa was the thing to do now that she saw that dates could go well enough – better than with a man, actually. Bathing together would mean being naked together, which could lead in to sex… But then, so could a movie. Almost as though she was reading Erica’s thoughts, Vanessa added softly, “Don’t overthink this, Erica – just do what comes naturally.”

“Do what comes naturally, huh?” Erica muttered softly, realizing that either option could be romantic, but the conversation they’d had and the drinks they’d shared had been plenty romantic. Erica didn’t want romantic right then, she was too turned on for the – she wanted to make love. With that, Erica made her choice and turned to Vanessa, wrapping her arms around her and kissing her, softly at first but deepening it quickly as she pushed her tongue into her mouth. The kiss caught Vanessa by surprise but she quickly recovered and returned the kiss, her arms moving around Erica and caressing her back and bare shoulders as she pushed her tongue into her mouth in return. Eventually, when Erica finally broke the kiss both were breathing heavily, their bodies pressed together as they gazed into each other’s eyes.

“Of course, you could go with the third option of getting all yo
ur clothes ripped off,” Vanessa said as her lips curled into a smile. With that the more experienced woman kissed Erica not on the lips, but on the neck, just over her pulse, her tongue moving over the other woman’s soft, smooth skin. Erica’s eyes widened and she let out a low moan as she felt Vanessa unzipping her dress as she kissed her. Her arms loosened a bit around Vanessa and then she moved her hands from her entirely so she would be able to remove the dress she wore. Vanessa did so after a moment, breaking the kiss in order to pull the dress from her, leaving her in only her strapless bra and matching tan panties. Vanessa leaned in to continue kissing her neck, moving down over her collarbone toward her breasts. Erica moaned softly and leaned her head back, closing her eyes and enjoying the feel of a woman’s lips on her body for the first time.

“Don’t I get to pull your dress off too?” Erica asked between moans, her voice sounding husky and much more confident than she felt. She couldn’t completely shake her nervousness about being with a woman for the first time. It was all her silly fears like how embarrassed she’d be if she did something wrong or perhaps a longing for what was familiar that kept her feeling somewhat unsettled. Deep within her core, she wanted this more than anything she’d wanted in quite some time. Sparks of passion had been stirred within her wounded soul that Vanessa had coaxed to a blazing fire.

“You’d better hurry up if you want to do it before I get your bra off,” Vanessa said coyly as she reached around Erica, starting to unhook her bra. Erica’s hands moved up and down Vanessa’s sides for a moment before reaching around her and unzipping her dress just as her own bra came off. Vanessa tossed the bra to the side and allowed Erica to pull her dress off her before she leaned in again, her mouth surrounding Erica’s nipple and sucking at it softly.

As Vanessa’s tongue ran lightly over her nipple while she sucked, Erica let out a long, low moan. Men had sucked her nipples before, but it had never felt like that. It was almost as if Vanessa could tell exactly what she wanted – no, what her body needed her to do to make it feel the best. Erica had to reach out and hold onto Vanessa’s shoulders to steady herself for a moment. Vanessa’s hand cupped her other breast, gently massaging and rubbing it while she sucked. Her other hand moved softly over Erica’s navel, down lower toward the area between her legs. Erica managed to reach down and get Vanessa’s bra unhooked just as she felt her hand plunge into her panties and rub her womanhood.
